Let's Party

It was really fun and full of good memories this christmas. On December , 24, the christmas eve, we went to 89k to drink beer and enjoy the great music. There were sevel bands performing that night and one group of them were our classmates! We went to see their performances and celebrate the christmas! The atmosphere was great and we all enjoyed it so much!

On December 25, We went to Le ble d'or to have our party! The theme of our party was wearing a ceremonial dress, and we had to prepare christmas gifts for exchanging. We prepared a lot for this night. Therefore, lots of passerbys looked at us because we were wearing gorgeous dresses.

We ordered beers and a big turkey. The turkey was delicious and fresh. It's meat was juicy! We had a great feast that night.

The most exciting moment was exchanging the christmas gifts. We didn't know what we would get and we had to pick a piece of paper with the number of your gift on it.

We all had good memories and this christmas was really wonderful.

There Christmas comes

Tomorrow is Christmas eve! It means that Christmas is coming. We are going to have a party of ceremonial dress on the night of December 25. On Christmas eve, we are going to a lounge bar to watch the performance of bands. There will be lots of christmas gifts in that lounge bar.

I am busy this month. There are lots of fun activities and my schedule is always full.It is good and it makes me feel that I am in the college life now. However, my mother keeps telling me that don't just play all the time, and she says I should study more.

Journal

November 30

It's the last day of November. We went to the Lavender Forest. It was sunny that day. Though I have lived in Taichung since I was born, I haven't been there before. It was a little shameful. When we got to our destination, I smell the scent of lavender. It made me feel comfortable.

The scenery there was great and there was full of fresh air. If you want to relax yourself and close to the nature, I think there is a good place to go.


December first

I had no schedule this day so at first I wanted to study a lot. There was a test on Wednesday. However, I always wasted time when I had a lot of free time. I always thought that I could do what I should do later so I kept putting off all I had to do. Therefore, I did nothing that night. I didn't open my book for any one page. Actually, I could not remember clearly what I had done that night. It was awful.


December second

I went shopping with Stacy but I just did window shopping. In contrast, Stacy got a lot. Maybe that night was not my lucky day so I could got what I wanted. However, shopping was a kind of exercise. After walking a lot in a place you like(such as in the departmentstore), you could feel really good.

Having a feast is always my favorite

I enjoy eating and having a feast so much and I always have a good appetite. I like to go to the fine restaurant on evey kind of festivals, birthday of friends, anniversary and even just a good mood. Sometimes it costs me a lot to taste so many delicious food but I think it is worthy spending money on eating.

This Wednesday I went to have a chafing dish with Susu, Stacy and Carmen. In the store, it had time limit. We ate a lot in 1.5 hours. I thought having a chafing dish in winter was very comfortable and great. The soup of it could warm our body. I loved it so much!!

I start to expect the Chrismas feast now. I remembered that last year we had our Christmas feast in Chilis. It was really delicious and great.

Chocolate

I am really a chocolate lover! Few days ago I went to see a dentist, and the dentist told me that I had few decayed teeth. I wondered why I had so many decayed teeth because I brushed my tooth on time everyday. In addition, I loved drinking water. I always drank water after I ate snacks or anything. I asked the dentist and after he thought a while, he said" do you like eat chocolate and do you eat it often?"


Oh! That dentist said the right thing because I love chocolate so much! I do live without chocolate and I love all kinds of chocolate. Especially black chocolate.Even when I choose birthday cake, I always choose the chocolate cake. No wonder I have few decayed teeth. The dentist said that because chocolate would melt in your mouth and you can not easily clean it.

When I am a bad mood, I always eat chocolate. It makes me feel happy!However, I should care for my teeth and my weight!

Fine Week

After taking the midtern exam, I did lots of funny activities this week. I went to see two movies and I went to Kenting!

I saw two nice movies with Claire this week. We saw Iron Man in school because it was not the

latest film. Robert Downey was Iron man and he was so handsome in this film. He was humorous and he could make lots of high-tech objects. He could create a suit of iron cloth in a bad circumstance. I thought he is really smart.

The second movie I saw this week was one of the latest movies- Quantum of Solace. It was the series of 007. James Bond wanted to take revenge for his lover. It was really exciting. However, I didn't saw the last one, Casino Royale, so I couldn't understand at first. We saw it at midnight so when we got back. It was really cold outside.

I went to Kenting National Park with four of my high-school classmates. At first, I thought it would cold there but when we got to our destination, it was not cold at all. The weather was fine, it was a little cool but not cold. We went to some famous attractions first and we went to the beach. Richard said we could bury him in the sand. Finally he left a head outside only. It was really fun. Lots of tourists passed by kept looking at us.The place we lived could see the beach and the sea. So after we went to hotel to change our clothes and took a rest.

The next day we went to the beach in the morning and we played there for so long. We built a big sand castle. There were two little kids came to played with us. We took a lot of beautiful pictures.

It was full of fun this week. I really relaxed a lot.

Week of Midtern Exams

I finished all the midtern exams today and after taking the oral test , Claire and I screamed out loudly to express our sense of excitement and joy.I suffered a lot this week and I thought that the week of taking exams were lonely and bored. I couldn't do something I liked in usual time like shopping.In order to ease off my pressure, I ate a lot this week.I spent a lot of money because I ate a lot.

It became colder this Monday and I felt cold when I was sleeping. However, I love cool weather so much. I prefer winter than summer.In winter, if you feel cold you can wear a lot but in summer , when you feel hot you cannot take off all your clothes. In addition, you won't sweat easily in winter.

I expect the feast this Sunday so much! Maybe I will get lots of weight this winter><

Far Away From Me,Back Luck

Something bad happened to me last whole week. Hence I didn't in a good mood these days. I felt depressed and unhappy.



First, the cheerleading competition held last Friday. After taking the third and fourth class, I went to Language Center to help our freshmen make up. They dressed very well and they had prepared the comptition for several months. Though I didn't participate in the competitiom this year(becaus I am sophomore), this was still a honor and important thing in our department. I had expected this day for a long time and I couldn't wait to see them dance. Nevertheless, bad luck found me. After making up for them, Susu, Apple, Stacy and I went out to have lunch because we were hungry. Then we ate happily and chatted about gossips. All of us thought that the competition began at three o'clock. However, when we walked slowly toward our destination, we found that there were lots od people yelling. The competition already began for one hour! It began at two o'clock and we just missed our freshmen's performance. I almost cried when I knew all the facts. My heart was almost broken.



The second bad thing happened on Sunday. My moon didn't recover from then on. On Sunday afternoon, Stacy and I went to the library so I put my motorcycle beside the library. When I wanted to go home and rided my motorcycle, I couldn't find it. It was stolen! I was stunned, and I found the police. Then I called my mom, I couldn't help but cry out loud. The bicycle means a lot to me. It is not just a tool of tansportation but also part of my family. We went to the police officer. Now all I can do is wait for the news of my motorcycle.


That made me feel sad and painful. I hope that all the bad luck can be far away from me quickly and my motorcycle come back to me.

I Am a Flywoman of Super High Way

Last Saturday, Susu, Stacy and I went to Taipei for shopping in one day. Lots of people felt we were crazy because we spent almost six hours on the bus just for shopping. However, we felt sense of accomplishment. In addition, It was my second time to do such things. Last time I went to Taipei in one day was in the summervacation. It was because that time I didn't go shopping so Susu and I decided to go to Taipei again.

Every time when I went sightseeing or shopping to Taipei, I always felt the prosperity of the city. I always thought that why did I just stay in Taichung for studying not went to Taipei. This time, the only purpose of three of us was just shopping! We found lots of products that Taichung couldn't find and three of us all bought something we wanted. We said that it's really worthy spending time on the bus, ha ha. We went to the department store and the night market. Because it was Saturday night, there were crowds of people everywhere.

Stacy and Susu said that they wanted to Taipei for shopping again. We are really crazy, ha ha.Shopping can really help someone forget about cares but it also dig a big hole in your pocket.

Movies

Last Friday I went to see the romantic comedy " The House's Bunny" with my classmates. It was my first time to see a movie at midnight. I thought that seeing a comedy at midnight is great because you won't easily fell sleepy. It talks about one beautiful girl who worked for PlayBoy and always lived in a place like paradise one day suddenly lost everything ,experienced true life and found something she really wanted to do. It was really a comedy and there were full of sound of laughter in the movie theater. Although some of plot in this movie was not rational and unbelievable, it still had something the director wanted to tell us. There are more and more comedies not only lacks content but also lacks fun. However, this movie is quite funny.It was my first time to see a movie at midnight so I felt very interested and if there are chance afterwards, I would like to do it again.

Last Saturday when I came home, I went to see the movie which was discussed a lot recently "Cape No.7" with my family. It depicted the cultures of Taiwan very well and it is really interesting. The scenery in Cape No.7 were spectacular! However, I thought it didn't depict the affection very well. The leading man and leading woman fell in love too quickly and their love was not deep enough to touch our heart. Nevertheless, it was really a successful local movie!

I always enjoy seeing good movies and think about the topic or lives in the movies over and over again. We can learn a lot of different things, people and lives in different movies.Thus,seeing movies is my one of my favorite entertainment.

Learning To Be Indepedent

Though I was born in Taichung,I moved out to live with my classmates this semester. It was because I had to spend almost one hour commuting between my house and school last semester. I had lived with my parents for eighteen years and I even lived with them after entering the colloge. Therefore, I had no opportunity to learn how to live outside and be independent before. This semester, I have the chance to live with my classmates and I have to be independent completely.

So far, It has been one month since I move out to live near school. At first few weeks, I didn't get used of it very well. It was the first time that I had to de.l with all my problems like if the shampoo ran out and what should I eat for dinner. In addition, it was the first time that I have to be with my classmates rather my family all day long. What's more, the private space I have at home and now in the house I rent are quite different. It was because my home is located in Taiping and there are four floors. The house I rent now is in an apartment and the space we have only one floor. I didn't get used of it at first because I couldn't walk up and down the house. Most importantly, my dear friends will see the most terrible side of me (because when I was at home, I always wear ugly shirts. ).

Most importantly, I can't eat dinner which my parents make everyday now. I loved the traditional dish like rice and vegetables. I also like the juicy fruit after dinner. My parents are good at picking the fruit. However, I did'n't eat any fruit after moving out because I don't know how to pick.

However, I get a lot of freedom after moving out because I don't have to tell my mom what am I doing and what time am I going home. I can do almost everything I want to do.

I was the oldest children in my family.I remember that since my sister was born I always treated on her because I thought she stolen my mom's cares on me.In addition, when I was a little children,I liked to mimic the person on TV.One time my mother scolded me and I felt very sorry so I went to her room and kneed to her.Because I often saw one knees to another when he makes the other angry.when my mother saw what I was doing,she felt I was really innocent and laughed at me.
When my grandfather was still alive,he liked to play with me.One time he gave me a lot of coins of one dollar,and he wanted me to pile them up.At that time I was thinking that one day i will make those coins become a path to the sky,and I can scrawl to the sky to see what hides after the clouds!!

Eveytime I go out,the first and also the most important thing to me is protecting myself from the UV.I'm afraid of getting tan.I think girls has white skin looks much more beautiful than those have tan skin.However,keeping the color white is not as easy as you think.You have to avoid any expose of UVA and UVB.It's really hard.As everyone know,when the sun rise,there are definitely full of UV outdoors.If you go out of your house,you are under the circumstances of the UVA and UVB,and you'll become tan.That'd what I 'm afraid of.Therefore,once I have to go out on the daytime,I prepare lots of tools to make myself not affected a lot from the sun.Before going out,I apply the sun protest lotion all around my body like legs, arms,face and my neck.If I have to walk on the street,I will bring the umbrella with the function if UV protecting .
